Named one of fifteen Disruptive Women to Watch in 2015, along with the Honorable Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Maria Shriver, Kym leverages her unique experience as a Hodgkin's lymphoma, melanoma (twice!) and breast cancer survivor to help healthcare, technology, research, academic and payer organizations capture, integrate and address "real-world" patient and consumer needs. Kym credits her survivorship success to diligence in early detection, personalized care and precision medicine.
Kym founded 360 Degree Insights LLC in 2015 to help clients design, develop and market patient- and consumer-centered, value-driven solutions. Her decades of experience in consultative sales and technology business development blend with her understanding of patient dynamics to serve clients large and small. In testing the functionality, usability and overall patient and consumer experience of healthcare and technology products and services, Kym provides meaningful and refined insights to help organizations deliver exceptional solutions. Kym relished the unique opportunity to consult directly with Gliimpse co-founders, designers and developers prior to the company's acquisition by Apple.
Kym consults with human-centered design firms on patient- and consumer-centered journey maps and assists focus group leaders as a neutral, 3rd party peer to patient and consumer participants to help elicit and enrich feedback.
Kym enjoyed success as a business development leader for various technology and software development firms in her early career. Today, she draws on her consultative, value-driven sales expertise to help her clients increase pipelines, secure new accounts, generate revenue, expand markets and coach salespeople on the art of selling.
Coupling her strengths as a national speaker and business development leader, Kym can also serve as a "value" (not brand) ambassador to help clients communicate and market the value of solutions to increase awareness and adoption.
Kym is a graduate of Bryant University and received her Master's in Business Administration from University of Connecticut. She shares her life with Ross Martin, MD - a seasoned medical informatician and creator of the HIT music videos, the Meaningful Yoose Rap and ePatient Dave's anthem, Gimme My DaM Data.
